Katrina created a special collection of artwork in appreciation of her mother, Jill Young and brother, Rory Young.

The exhibition was lovingly curated as a tribute to the talent of these two Gloucestershire artists. The retrospective brought their work together under one roof for the very first time, reimagining the rooms of Rory’s much-loved house to celebrate the creativity of two lives.

The show offered a rare opportunity to see pieces that had never before been displayed. After leaving art school, much of Rory’s early work was carefully stored away in the attic, hidden from view - until now. While Rory went on to establish himself as a sculptor and conservator, he had always intended to return to painting later in life, when “too old to move stone about.” This collection reveals both his and Jill’s talents across paintings, sketches and works on paper, many of which remain unframed, lending an intimate feel to the exhibition.
